I LOVE love and adventure! Whilst travelling in Africa, a friend introduced me to a their friend at a cafe. By the end of the afternoon, he invited me to his wedding . A few days before the wedding, I attending the groom's "giving away" ceremony at his family's home. As the only foreigner there, I was asked to give an impromptu speech and somehow managed to pull it off - so much so that his parents wanted photos with me afterwards! Later, they asked me to help serve the cake and of course, I said yes! The wedding itself was huge, beautiful, and it was such a wonderful experience seeing so much love. I danced the night away, celebrated with strangers, and made so many new friends. Then, two years later, I randomly ran into the couple at a church service in the US and we both were blown away by the coincidence! A stranger is just a friend you haven't met yet, and what better way to make new friends than at a wedding!
