About myself, I'm in the time in life where my children are grown with their own families and not close by. In the past several years I have had to relocate and remake my life from scratch. A hurricane took my home, leaving me only a few personal belongings. Thankfully, when the roof came in we were able to get out, on the other hand, I had a few minor injuries. Although everything "thing" was destroyed, the loss of accumulated stuff was freeing, like spring cleaning. Now we are living clutter free and in a new town job, and very few friends. We, my boyfriend, lol seniors 55+, are social and looking to have times spent with new friends doing fun things. We saw this posted on social media and have been talking quite a bit about the idea and possibilities. I think its fantastic, and I think it's right in line with the kind of lifestyle that I have a blast living. New friends, celebrations, new places, food, everything sound exciting.
