I've always loved weddings because they're one of the few times people get to fully lean into joy, love, and celebrating each other. I genuinely enjoy seeing how every couple tells their story in their own way whether through music, the decor, the flowers, the colors, the speeches, even the little details people probably spent months to years stressing over. You can really feel people's personalities in it all, and I think that's beautiful. I also love hearing of other's love stories of what led up to that moment, it's such an honor.
My vibe at weddings is definitely just having a good time and being present. I'm usually the person complimenting the decor, hyping up the food and atmosphere, trying the couple's favorite drinks, sneaking extra appetizers, signing the guest book and best wishes, taking candid photos for people, complimenting outfits, and convincing everyone to get back on the dance floor. I also fully believe in leaving with a party favor!
I'm not an obnoxious center-or-attention type, but I do love bringing good energy and making people feel celebrated. I absolutely tear up during heartfelt vows and then be on the dance floor an hour later requesting early 2000s throwbacks (but I'll of course match the vibe of the night).
Sometimes life happens and not everyone can make it to a wedding, but nobody deserves to look out at empty chairs on such an important day. I like the idea of helping fill the room with good energy and people who are genuinely excited to celebrate love.
There's already enough stress and negativity on the world, so why wouldn't you want to spend a day surrounded by happiness, good food, music, and people rooting for each other.
