I’m a flight attendant who lives outside Charleston, SC. My husband and I had planned a beach wedding on Isle of Palms… for April 25, 2020. Covid. Everything was canceled. South Carolina shut down all short term rentals. Airlines canceled a ton of flights. We carried on with our original wedding date. It ended up being the two of us in our back yard with our officiant. We kept saying we would plan receptions around the country for our friends and family, but we still haven’t. (One day…)
