I know this probably sounds unconventional, but I’ve always been drawn to the feeling that weddings carry. Ever since I was nine years old, I’ve loved the atmosphere of people coming together to celebrate love, family, connection, softness, and new beginnings. In a world that can feel heavy sometimes, there’s something really beautiful about witnessing two people choose each other and stepping into that moment of joy, unity, and hope alongside them, even as a stranger. I’m choosing to be part of this experience because I want to respectfully take in that atmosphere, to dress up, be present, and experience a celebration of love in a way that feels meaningful and memorable.
